Who we are
Wisdom Work Press is a boutique publishing house devoted to books that matter. Grounded in integrity, creativity, and wisdom, we work with authors whose ideas deserve careful cultivation and lasting form. Our mission is not simply to produce books, but to bring thoughtful, original, and enduring works into the world.
Having published nearly forty titles across poetry, nonfiction, fiction, and photographic essays, Wisdom Work Press combines editorial discernment with a deep respect for the written word. We are selective by design. Each project is chosen for its substance, clarity of voice, and contribution to cultural and intellectual life.
Our work often begins long before a manuscript is complete. We collaborate with writers to shape ideas, refine concepts, and develop books from their earliest stages. For those with a powerful story or body of knowledge but limited time or writing experience, we provide professional ghostwriting grounded in authenticity and voice integrity. We also assist authors in generating and clarifying book concepts, helping transform insight and experience into a coherent, publishable vision.
Wisdom Work Press (WWP) operates through a trusted network of creative professionals in the book industry. We work alongside experienced designers, marketing strategists, and public relations specialists who understand how to position books thoughtfully and effectively. This collaborative model ensures that every book receives the aesthetic refinement and strategic attention it deserves.
What distinguishes WWP is our partnership approach. We do not treat publishing as a transaction. We treat it as a shared intellectual and creative endeavor. We believe books should elevate discourse, deepen reflection, and contribute meaningfully to the communities they reach.
At WWP, publishing is both craft and calling.
Don Iannone, a recognized author and editor, established WWP in 2016. He is the author of over 30 books. Don holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy and a Doctor of Divinity degree.
